The History of Fogg’s Water Taxi

At Fogg’s Water Taxi, we grew from the nautical passions of our sister company, Fogg’s Boatworks. In 2016, the Fogg’s Boatworks team started dipping our toes into the world of water taxis at the request of a water taxi company that couldn’t keep up with demand. After one summer helping out, we bought the water taxi company out and started Fogg’s Water Taxi with a small fleet of our own hand-crafted vessels.

We quickly evolved into one of the best water taxi services in the Portland area. Our fleet grew with the Casco Bay Cat in 2018, solidifying our presence in Casco Bay. In 2023, we welcomed the Joseph S. Kennedy, expanding and enhancing our Casco Bay charter and event charter services.
